Aussie Regulator Targets Apple Over IPad's 4G Claims

Law360, New York (March 27, 2012, 2:39 PM EDT) -- An Australian regulator said Tuesday that it would sue Apple Inc. in federal court for allegedly deceiving customers about the high-speed capability of its third-generation iPad.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission claims that Apple has violated the Australian Consumer Law through misleading advertisements about the ability of its newly released iPad to connect to the high-speed 4G network with a SIM card.
