NY Fund Prods 15 Big Cos. On Political Disclosure

Law360, New York (March 27, 2012, 2:32 PM EDT) -- New York's state pension fund is directly pressuring 15 corporations residing in its $140 billion portfolio to disclose political expenditures, reaching agreements with giants such as PG&E Corp. and forcing others including PepsiCo Inc. and The Travelers Cos. Inc. to hold shareholder votes, a source told Law360 on Tuesday.
