US Airline Group Drops Challenge To EU Emissions Plan

Law360, New York (March 27, 2012, 7:42 PM EDT) -- Airline industry group Airlines for America on Tuesday dropped its suit over a controversial European Union cap-and-trade program requiring airlines to pay for carbon emissions after a December decision by EU’s highest court finding that the requirement does not violate international law.
