Judge Grounds Airport Servicer's Antitrust Suit

Law360, New York (March 29, 2012, 3:22 PM EDT) -- A Colorado county on Wednesday won the dismissal of JetAway Aviation LLC's antitrust suit accusing county commissioners of conspiring to grant another contractor a monopoly on support services at the local airport.

Judge Richard P. Matsch granted summary judgment to Montrose County, strongly rejecting JetAway's argument that the county's decision to award rival Jet Center Partners LLC a contract to operate the county's small airport could be considered an antitrust issue.
