MasterCard, Visa Warn Card Users After Data Breach

Law360, New York (March 30, 2012, 3:34 PM EDT) -- Credit card processor Global Payments Inc. said Friday that its systems had been breached, as MasterCard Inc. and Visa Inc. scrambled to warn cardholders that their account information may have been stolen.

Representatives for Global Payments, Visa and MasterCard declined to comment on the number of credit card users estimated to have been affected by the incident.
