GE Grabs Majority Stake In $375M Wind Development

Law360, New York (April 2, 2012, 6:13 PM EDT) -- A unit of General Electric Co. is scooping up a majority stake in a $375 million Oklahoma wind farm slated for completion later this year, adding to the energy giant’s already huge presence in the wind sector, the firm announced Monday.

The deal gives GE Energy Financial Services a 51 percent interest in the Chisholm View wind project, which will come online later this year about 85 miles north of Oklahoma City, it said.
