EPA Greenlights E15 As Registered Fuel

Law360, New York (April 2, 2012, 6:47 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on Monday approved gasoline blended with 15 percent ethanol as a registered fuel, raising the limit from the current 10 percent.

The EPA said it had approved the first round of applications to register the fuel, known as E15, after issuing a pair of partial waivers last year for using the fuel in certain vehicles.
