Vonage Seeks To Open Sprint Patent Information

Law360, New York (August 15, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Vonage Holding Corp. has asked a Kansas federal court to force Sprint Nextel Corp. to produce purportedly privileged documents which the voice over internet protocol company deems is vital to its patent infringement defense.

In a motion filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas, Vonage said Sprint “has failed to produce a complete privilege log and continues to withhold highly relevant information under unsustainable privilege claims.” Vonage's request comes three weeks before a trial is scheduled in the case, in which...
