Clear Channel Fined For Withholding Source Code

Law360, New York (August 15, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Giving Clear Channel Communications Inc. a warning, a federal court fined the media company on Tuesday for failing to produce relevant source code in a patent battle over radio billing and inventory management, but stopped short of awarding the opposing party a victory.

Clear Channel was supposed to have provided the source code of its VIERO revenue management tools to Grantley Patent Holdings Ltd., the plaintiff in the case.
