Former Qualcomm Counsel May Face Sanctions

Law360, New York (August 15, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A magistrate judge on Monday ordered attorneys who represented Qualcomm Inc. in a recently concluded patent fight with Broadcom Inc. to appear in court later this month for a hearing on possible sanctions against them.

During the case, which concerns technology used in cell phone video displays, Broadcom alleged that Qualcomm failed to produce key documents during discovery.
