3rd Circ. Sends Oxford Health To Class Arbitration With Doctors

Law360, New York (April 3, 2012, 6:59 PM EDT) -- The Third Circuit ruled Tuesday that an arbitrator can compel class arbitration even when a contract lacks explicit class arbitration provisions, forcing Oxford Health Plans LLC to re-enter negotiations with a group of doctors who claim the insurer delayed reimbursement payments.
