MPAA Backs Porn Video Website In Infringement Fight

Law360, New York (April 6, 2012, 8:39 PM EDT) -- The Motion Picture Association of America Inc. on Wednesday urged the Seventh Circuit to affirm a lower court’s ruling in a suit by a pornography website against a file-sharing site that a Web company can be held liable for linking to copyright-infringing content, arguing reversal would open the door to widespread infringement.
