Ex-Tyco CEO Kozlowski Denied Parole

Law360, New York (April 6, 2012, 4:09 PM EDT) -- Former Tyco Ltd. CEO L. Dennis Kozlowski, who was sentenced to 25 years in prison for corporate looting, was denied parole Thursday by a New York board that said his crimes were too serious to justify release.

The New York State parole board said releasing Kozlowski, who was convicted of stealing from Tyco to finance a lavish lifestyle and assemble a collection of tony houses throughout the U.S., would not be appropriate given the enormity of his corporate pillaging.
