JPMorgan, MF Global Trustee In Talks Over Missing Funds

Law360, New York (April 6, 2012, 12:16 PM EDT) -- MF Global Inc.’s liquidation trustee said Wednesday he was in “substantive” talks with JPMorgan Chase Bank NA over the location of customer funds that went missing in the chaotic days before the broker-dealer’s demise.

The trustee, James W. Giddens, said he was wrapping up an investigation of whether the bank still held a portion of some $1.6 billion belonging to MF Global’s commodities customers, according to a statement.
