2nd Circ. Clears Way For Asbestos Suits Against Pfizer

Law360, New York (April 10, 2012, 8:28 PM ET) -- The Second Circuit on Tuesday ruled that Pfizer Inc. can be sued in state court over asbestos-riddled insulation made by its bankrupt subsidiary Quigley Co. Inc. despite a bankruptcy court order that barred asbestos-related suits against the pharmaceutical giant until Quigley's reorganization was complete.
