Law360, New York (April 10, 2012, 6:27 PM ET) -- Morgan Stanley's private equity division has acquired privately held Access Cash General Partnership, Canada's second-largest ATM owner, for an undisclosed sum, the investment bank said Tuesday.
Morgan Stanley Global Private Equity partnered with Access Cash's current management team, who will remain in place and keep "a significant minority stake" in the company, Morgan Stanley said. Access Cash manages more than 6,400 ATMs across Canada — about 11 percent of the country's total — including some branded machines for BMO Bank of Montreal.
