BNY Mellon, JPMorgan, Others Can Appeal Ala. County Ch. 9

Law360, New York (April 11, 2012, 7:00 PM ET) -- An Alabama federal judge on Monday gave Bank of New York Mellon, JPMorgan Chase Bank NA, Societe Generale SA and other creditors the go-ahead to challenge Jefferson County, Ala.'s eligibility to file for Chapter 9 bankruptcy because of a legal question that has not yet been settled.
