Contract Claims Bomb In Battle Over 'Improv' Name

Law360, Los Angeles (April 11, 2012, 4:50 PM EDT) -- A Los Angeles judge on Wednesday tentatively dismissed several claims against a comedy club owner who allegedly misused the “Improv” franchise name to build a competing comedy brand, saying Improv West Associates hadn’t backed up its breach of contract and fiduciary duty claims.
