Wyeth Fights Prempro Plaintiffs' Latest Discovery Bids

Law360, New York (August 20, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Wyeth Inc. has rejected a recent set of discovery requests by plaintiffs in the multidistrict litigation over Prempro, arguing that the bid for the documents is “unrealistic” and “obviously burdensome.”

In court documents filed Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas, the drug company asked for a protective order barring 15 discovery requests – including eight interrogatories, six requests for admissions and one request for production of documents – concerning each of 2,927 Wyeth documents.
