Law360, New York (April 12, 2012, 6:42 PM ET) -- Kinder Morgan Energy Partners LP will move forward with $5 billion project to nearly triple the capacity of its 1,150-kilometer Trans Mountain pipeline system, after receiving strong commitments from shippers, it said Thursday.
KMEP already has commitments totaling 660,000 barrels of oil per day from new and existing producers looking to send both crude and refined oil from central Alberta province to the west coast of the U.S. and Canada, the company said.
