SEC Taps Fraud Prosecutor For Enforcement Division Post

Law360, New York (April 13, 2012, 6:56 PM EDT) -- The U.S Securities and Exchange Commission has tapped federal prosecutor Matthew C. Solomon as deputy chief litigation counsel for its Enforcement Division, the SEC announced Thursday, filling a position that has been empty for more than a year.

Solomon, who will begin his new role in June, fills a post left vacant when Mark A. Adler joined the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board as deputy chief trial counsel in December 2010, the SEC announced.
