PE Firm Snags Spanish Video Game Co. Out Of Bankruptcy

Law360, New York (April 13, 2012, 6:18 PM ET) -- Just two weeks after rescuing The Game Group PLC's British assets from bankruptcy, a company advised by London-based private investment firm OpCapita LLP has bought the Spanish assets of the leading European video game retailer out of administration, it announced Friday.

OpCapita-advised Cherrilux Investments SARL has no plans to close any of the newly acquired Game Iberia's nearly 300 video game stores, but it is evaluating a possible resale of the business, according to a statement OpCapita issued Friday.
