Calif. Senate Panel Gives Go-Ahead To Carbon Capture Bill

Law360, San Diego (April 16, 2012, 11:08 PM ET) -- A California Senate committee approved a bill Monday that would require the state to set up a regulatory framework for the permitting and operation of carbon capture and storage projects at power plants and refineries, which could play a key role in helping California meet its ambitious greenhouse gas reduction targets.
