DuPont May Owe $235M After Study Ties Chemical To Cancer

Law360, New York (April 16, 2012, 2:17 PM EDT) -- A three-member science panel on Monday linked to testicular and kidney cancer a DuPont Co. chemical used in Teflon, in a development that could trigger up to $235 million in liabilities under a 2005 settlement with West Virginia residents, the plaintiffs' lawyer said.
