Law360, New York (April 16, 2012, 5:47 PM ET) -- A group of large-scale New York electricity consumers said Monday that they should not have to pay more for electricity to partly fund a $216 million, four-year expansion of smaller-scale photovoltaic projects in Gov. Andrew Cuomo's bid to boost solar energy.
The business group, which calls itself Multiple Intervenors, made the comments after the New York State Energy Research and Development Agency said in February that "a modest increase in collections" would be one way to pay for the expansion of customer-sited solar projects.
