HHS Rule Doesn't Cede Claim Reviews, 9th Circ. Told

Law360, New York (April 17, 2012, 4:12 PM EDT) -- Allowing a federal health regulation to bar administrative review of a contractor's decision to reopen a Medicare claim would cede all legal authority over the process to the contractor, the American Medical Association and other advocacy groups told the Ninth Circuit on Friday.
