DynCorp Loses $165M Colombian Anti-Narcotics Contract

Law360, New York (April 17, 2012, 7:46 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Court of Federal Claims has overturned a $165 million U.S. Department of State contract with DynCorp International Inc. to assist a Colombian police anti-drug program, saying the agency improperly evaluated bidders' experiences, according to an opinion published Monday.

Court of Federal Claims Judge Christine Odell Cook Miller granted Contracting, Consulting, Engineering LLC's motion for judgment on the administrative record on April 3, but the decision was not made public immediately so it could be redacted.
