Law360, New York (April 18, 2012, 5:02 PM ET) -- Merck & Co. Inc. said Wednesday that a New Jersey state court jury found in its favor in a woman's suit claiming the company's osteoporosis drug Fosamax caused her jaw to deteriorate.
Jo Ann Sessner's case claiming Fosamax caused her osteonecrosis of the jaw, or jaw deterioration, was one of thousands of cases including similar allegations over the drug.
