BCBG Struck With $220M Suit Over Playboy Condom Deal

Law360, New York (April 19, 2012, 3:28 PM ET) -- A worldwide licensing agent for Playboy Enterprises on Thursday hit Max Azria and his BCBG Max Azria Group with a  $220 million contracts suit, calling the fashion designer a “narcissistic braggart” and accusing him of dishonest dealings in a Playboy condom venture.

In a complaint filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, Jimmy Esebag, CEO of United Licensing Group, accused Azria of breaching oral agreements by failing to provide financing to help launch a venture to produce and sell Playboy condoms featuring the iconic rabbit symbol. ...
