OptionsXpress Affiliate Accused Of Unregistered Dealing

Law360, Los Angeles (April 19, 2012, 8:43 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission accused an affiliate of optionsXpress on Thursday with trading as an unregistered dealer, days after the Charles Schwab Corp. subsidiary was charged separately for naked short selling.

OX Trading LLC is accused of operating as an unregistered dealer from October 2009 to November 2010 and continuing to trade after it terminated its listing with the Chicago Board Options Exchange, and of deregistering with the SEC to avoid an audit, regulators said.
