Judge Refuses Nissan's Request For Sanctions

Law360, New York (August 23, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A judge has refused to grant dismissal, award attorneys' fees or grant sanctions to Nissan North America Inc. in a lawsuit alleging that it and other auto makers conspired to block cheaper Canadian cars from reaching the American market.

Judge D. Brock Hornby of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maine said Wednesday that deciding on Nissan's summary judgment motion request at the present would disrupt the established schedule for the multidistrict litigation.
