Law360, New York (April 19, 2012, 9:32 PM ET) -- A former federal prosecutor with private practice experience in securities fraud cases has been tapped to head New Jersey's consumer watchdog, the state announced Thursday.
Eric T. Kanefsky, appointed as the new acting director of the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs, had been with the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of New Jersey as an assistant U.S. attorney in the public corruption division and violent crimes unit, beginning in 2008.
