Nokia Barred From Selling 3G Phones In Germany

Law360, New York (April 20, 2012, 3:21 PM ET) -- Nokia Corp. must halt all sales of third-generation phones in Germany after a court there ruled in patent-licensing company IPCom GmbH & Co. KG’s $17.8 billion suit that the cellphone maker has infringed a wireless technology patent, IPCom said Friday.

Germany’s Mannheim District Court on Friday ruled that Nokia is infringing Patent Number 100DE, which covers 3G-capable mobile phones, IPCom said in a statement.
