Jones Day Hires Sony Music's Chief Legal Adviser In Germany

Law360, New York (April 20, 2005, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Jones Day has hired the former chief legal adviser of Sony Music Entertainment in Germany for the firm’s Frankfurt office.

Piet Bubenzer, who specializes in copyright and media law, is joining Jones Day’s intellectual property division as European Counsel, the firm said.

Jones Day Partner Friedrich Klinkert said the addition of Bubenzer would strengthen the firm’s expertise in copyright and media law.
