ITC Judge Says Microsoft's Xbox Infringes 4 Motorola Patents

Law360, New York (April 23, 2012, 9:48 PM EDT) -- A U.S. International Trade Commission administrative law judge issued an initial finding Monday that Microsoft Corp.'s Xbox video game systems infringe four Motorola Mobility Inc. wireless networking and digital video patents.

The full ITC is set to review Administrative Law Judge David P. Shaw's decision and issue a final ruling in August. Motorola has asked the commission to issue a permanent exclusion order barring Microsoft from importing the popular gaming console and various accessories.
