Law360, New York (April 23, 2012, 1:45 PM ET) -- Struggling Thomson Reuters Corp. has sold its health care data and analytics business to an affiliate of private equity firm Veritas Capital for $1.25 billion in cash, the company announced Monday.
The sale of the unit, which provides up-to-the-minute data to hospitals, government agencies and other health professionals, has been in the works since last year but was delayed by tough market conditions.
