Michael Jordan Hopes Image Spat Will Rebound In 7th Circ.

Law360, New York (April 24, 2012, 7:34 PM EDT) -- Michael Jordan on Friday appealed to the Seventh Circuit a ruling that a 2009 Supervalu Inc.-sponsored magazine page featuring an unauthorized image of him was noncommercial speech, arguing that the company's own witnesses have said the images were used for promotion.
