Tishman Speyer To Build 1M SF Chicago Office

Law360, New York (April 25, 2012, 6:33 PM EDT) -- Tishman Speyer Properties LP and the billionaire Crown family of Chicago are planning to construct a 1-million-square-foot office building on the former site of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange that has remained empty for nearly a decade, a person close to the matter confirmed Wednesday.

The property owners have retained Krueck and Sexton Architects to the design the building, and further details are expected to be released by the end of the month, according to a Tishman spokesperson.
