Obama Submits 4 District Judge Picks As Senate Debates 5

Law360, New York (April 26, 2012, 4:49 PM ET) -- President Barack Obama on Wednesday submitted four nominations to the U.S. Senate for judgeships at federal district courts in California, Louisiana, Michigan and New York as the Senate began deliberations on five other judicial nominations to courts in Utah, Texas, California and Connecticut.

"I am honored to put forward these highly qualified candidates for the federal bench," Obama said. "They will be distinguished public servants and valuable additions to the United States District Court."
