Law360, New York (April 27, 2012, 2:17 PM ET) -- A Catholic-school teacher in Indiana who said she was called a "grave immoral sinner" by her boss and fired after undergoing in vitro fertilization hit the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend and her school with a suit last week alleging discrimination.
In the suit, filed in Indiana federal court April 20, English teacher Emily Herx accused the diocese and the St. Vincent de Paul School in Fort Wayne, Ind., of sex bias and violating her rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
