Perkins, Kirkland Rep Intel In $75M Deal For Wireless Patents

Law360, New York (April 27, 2012, 1:07 PM EDT) -- California-based Intel Corp. continued its 2012 spending spree on Thursday, snatching up a $75 million portfolio of wireless technology patents from software maker Aware Inc.

The agreement — for a group of WiFi and mobile Internet patents — follows Intel's January deals to buy 190 patents from RealNetworks Inc. for $120 million and QLogic Corp.'s InfiniBand business for $125 million.
