Dynegy Lashes Out At Creditor's 'Overbroad' Subpoenas

Law360, New York (April 27, 2012, 7:25 PM EDT) -- Bankrupt Dynegy Holdings Inc. and a creditor traded bitter barbs Friday over subpoenas the creditor fired off to bolster its case for a trustee that Dynegy contends are "wildly overbroad and incredibly wasteful and improper."

The bickering stems from a scathing examiner's report in March that found Dynegy Holdings' prebankruptcy transfer of coal assets to parent Dynegy Inc. constituted a fraudulent transfer illegally designed to benefit shareholders. The U.S. trustee and Claren later asked the bankruptcy court to tap a trustee to oversee Dynegy Holdings' bankruptcy....
