Goldman, JPMorgan, Others Targeted Over $130M In MBS

Law360, New York (April 30, 2012, 3:53 PM EDT) -- Watertown Savings Bank on Friday slapped a slew of banks, including Bank of America Corp., JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Goldman Sachs & Co., with a lawsuit in New York state court over $130 million worth of residential mortgage-backed securities they securitized.

In a brief summons, Watertown said it had bought AMF Ultra Short Fund and AMF Ultra Short Mortgage Funds, which were made up of of residential mortgages that the defendant banks had securitized.
