Fujitsu Targets Tellabs Over Optical Systems Patents

Law360, New York (May 01, 2012, 7:06 PM ET) -- Information technology company Fujitsu Ltd. on Monday sued telecommunications company Tellabs Inc. in Illinois federal court, alleging infringement of four of its patents covering optical transport systems technology.

Fujitsu claims that Naperville, Ill.-based Tellabs is making and selling optical communication products in the U.S. that infringe its patents.

The suit also names Tellabs divisions Tellabs Operations Inc. and Tellabs North America.
