Amgen, Roche Battle Heads To Trial

Law360, New York (August 29, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal court judge has ruled that Roche Holding AG's anemia drug Mircera violates one Amgen Inc. patent, but will let the dispute over two additional patents go to trial after the Labor Day break.

Judge William Young of the U.S. District Court of Boston on Tuesday granted Amgen summary judgment on one of its three claims against its rival drug maker, but denied the other two, sending them to trial on Sept. 4.
