MVM Loses Protest Over $309M DOJ Linguist Contract

Law360, New York (May 2, 2012, 5:12 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office has turned down MVM Inc.'s protest over a $309 million contract for linguist services that the U.S. Department of Justice awarded to AllWorld Language Consultants Inc., according to a ruling posted Tuesday.

While the DOJ's Drug Enforcement Administration found the technical advantages of MVM's proposal were impressive, it said the advantages were not so overwhelming that they justified paying $72 million more than AllWorld's price, according to the ruling.
