Kodak Wants To Lift Stay In IP Suit Against Shutterfly

Law360, New York (May 03, 2012, 7:04 PM ET) -- Eastman Kodak Co. asked a New York bankruptcy court Wednesday to lift the automatic stay on its suit against Shutterfly Inc. and Tiny Prints Inc., claiming the companies are improperly using it to shield themselves from Kodak's patent infringement claims in Delaware federal court.

In the Delaware suit, originally filed in December 2010, Kodak accuses Internet-based photo service Shutterfly of infringing five patents for a method of selecting photographic images using index prints.
