Sweden Rejects EU Ultimatum On Gambling

Law360, New York (August 30, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The Swedish government has refused to heed the European Commission's warnings about opening its gambling industry to outside companies, telling regulators that while it may consider implementing new regulations, the country cannot guarantee that any legal changes will be made.
