Law360, New York (May 02, 2012, 11:49 PM ET) -- The situation at Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP appeared to worsen Wednesday, as partners were told they might not get their paychecks this week and merger talks with SNR Denton reportedly collapsed.
The firm told partners they would not receive their monthly $25,000 draws until they had sent any outstanding bills to clients and logged all their billable hours, according to a source familiar with the matter who doubts the firm has enough cash to pay the partners.
