Law360, New York (May 03, 2012, 2:14 PM ET) -- Cypress Semiconductor Corp. on Thursday announced the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has upheld the validity of a memory patent at issue in its U.S. International Trade Commission infringement proceeding against GSI Technology Inc. and its customers.
The semiconductor manufacturer said in a statement that the intellectual property regulator had concluded its re-examination of U.S. Patent Number 7,142,477, finding that the memory patent was valid in spite of GSI's claims to the contrary.
